December Weekly Specials

Arrive to your cottage with your refrigerator or freezer stocked with ready to heat meals. The selection for this month varies by the week and will include the following options.

Beef Bourguignon: Not messing with a classic here, this is Julia Child’s baby. Slow braised beef in rosemary and red wine with mushrooms. Served over my sinful garlic parmesan mashed potatoes and you have match made in heaven. How could it possibly be better? Add a couple mini Yorkshire puddings to each serving, that’s how!  $14.50 per serving

Breakfast for Dinner: My homemade English Muffins are square but filled with just as many nooks and crannies! They are perfect for handmade turkey sausage patty sandwiches with cheese and a fried egg. Accompanied by a side of home-fried potatoes with peppers and onions and a bakery style chocolate chip muffin.  $13 per serving

Mango Coconut Chicken Curry: Sweet with a bit of heat this curry of gently simmered chicken pieces is always a crowd favourite. Served with a side of basmati rice and 1 paratha per serving.  $13.50 per serving

The Best Meatball Sub: Everyone’s had a meatball sub but have you ever had one where every element is made the traditional way from scratch? Beef and Pork Meatballs are seared then slow simmered in classic marinara for 4 hours served on freshly baked potato bread rolls. Accompanied by classic pasta salad. $12.50 per serving

Bibimbap: Comfort in a bowl! This Korean rice dish comes disassembled you just heat and fry the eggs and crisp the rice. Served with assorted seasonal & pickled veggies, Kimchi, Gochujang beef, & a fried egg. $12 per serving

Chicken Marsala w/ Risotto: boneless skinless chicken breast and thigh pieces seared and finished in a fortified wine sauce with bits of prosciutto served on a bed of creamy dreamy roasted garlic Parmesan risotto. $14 per serving

Tourtiere: This is a Christmas Eve dinner tradition at my house. Made with flaky pastry and a traditional filling of beef, pork, and potatoes. Served with a side of homemade tomato jam.  Serves 6. $40 per pie 

Baked Brie: Surrounded by buttery puff pastry, the triple cream brie is paired with an absolutely mouthwatering bacon bourbon and rosemary jam. Serves 6-12 $28 

Mini Lobster Cakes: One of the first canapes I learned to make and it’s still just as popular today! Made with beautiful local lobster. Serve with citrus aioli. $30 per dozen

Roasted Vegetables & Goat Cheese in Phyllo: So you’ve got Vegetarians coming for the holiday and you need an impressive and filling entrée to pop in the oven. Hearty phyllo packages filled with roasted sweet potato, peppers, asparagus, and red onion with tangy herbed goat cheese. Bake from frozen in 30min.  $30 for 4 servings

Fettuchini Alfredo with Roasted Balsamic Broccoli: No meat, no problem here! Everyone’s favourite pasta dish is best when made with the least amount of ingredients. I stick to classic here, but a side of bright green broccoli breaks up all the rich heaviness of the pasta. $13.75 per serving*

Tortellini en brodo with mini meatballs: This simple Italian classic of cheese tortellini in a rich homemade bone broth enhanced with mini meatballs and greens is so comforting on a fall day. Served with a cheddar onion scone. $13.25 per serving*

Dan Dan Noodles with Fresh Rolls: Ramen noodles aren’t just for soup! This delicious and tangy noodle dish is tossed in a Ginger Soy honey sauce with seasoned ground pork. Served with a fresh rice paper roll filled with crisp raw veggies and a chili dipping sauce. (Vegetarian available on request!) $14.50 per serving*

Epic Sandwich w/ Kettle Chips & Ants on a Log: Handmade Focaccia spread with Honey Mustard Mayo and stacked with crispy cheddar cheese fricco, lettuce, grilled turkey slices, bacon, and caramel onions. Served with extra crunchy kettle chips and the good ol’ celery and peanut butter classic $13.75 per serving*

Chicken Finger Poutine Patatas Bravas Style: The kids will be thrilled! Crispy cornflake and parmesan baked chicken fingers get chopped up and served over twice cooked insanely crispy potato nuggets. Topped with beef and mushroom gravy and cheese curds. What more could you want?! $15.00 per serving*

Roasted Squash Stuffed Pupusas with Curtido: 3 cheesy corn cakes per serving stuffed with deliciously creamy roasted acorn squash. Accompanied by an ultra crisp fresh cabbage and carrot slaw called curtido. The tangy juice from the slaw is perfect for pupusa dipping! $13.25 per serving*

Let’s FonDUE This! No special pot needed, just heat up this delicious white wine cheese sauce over the stove and dip right in pan. Served with cubed homemade bread, sauteed chicken pieces, mini meatballs, blanched veggies and roasted potatoes $15.00 per serving*

Braised Bone-In Beef Short ribs in Bourbon Molasses Sauce: this fork tender beef will be a new favourite. I finally got a chef I used to work with to share his recipe!!! Served with a side of shell pasta mac & cheese and brown butter sauteed green beans $17.25 per serving*

Welcome Snacks

Arrive to find these options in your refrigerator ready for serving at the best time.

Charcuterie Platter: A gorgeous presentation that’s hearty enough for snacking up to 6 people. We work with local butchers and farmers to source the best products when available. This display features 3-4 cured meats, house preserved vegetables, 3-4 Artisan cheeses, pickles, homemade chutneys, and an assortment of fresh baked bread and crackers. Vegetarian Charcuterie available on request. $100

Dips & Chips: Silky smooth red pepper hummus topped with feta, oil, and Zatar. Roasted Mushroom & goat cheese pate. Served with artisan crackers, pita chips, and bread. $40

Finger Sandwiches: 2 dozen mini sandwiches served on freshly baked homemade bread. Assortment to include cucumber and herbed cheese, cranberry Brie chicken salad, black forest ham with cheddar and pesto mayo, roast beef with horseradish mayo and picked red onions. $80

Dessert Charcuterie Platter: Eye catching and sophisticated enough to impress the group, but still so fun the kids will go nuts! A bountiful presentation of assorted homemade cookies and artisan marshmallows with chocolate dipped strawberries, house made dipping sauces and the best high end artisanal candies. Serves 4-8 $80

Dream S’mores: 2 flavours of handmade marshmallows, 3 assorted premium chocolate bars in accompanying flavours, and 12 jumbo homemade molasses graham cookies. Chef highly recommends hunting outside for the perfect stick to roast the marshmallows. Your inner 6-year-old will squeal! Gluten free grahams or halal marshmallows available on request. Serves 6 jumbo s’mores and 12 additional marshmallows. $60

Breakfast Quesadillas: These whole wheat tortillas are filled with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, black beans, an ultra-fine dice of sauteed onion, pepper, and mushrooms, and a tangy ta co sauce. Pop them in the toaster and breakfast is hot and ready to go in minutes. (The ultra fine dice on the veggies adds fiber and nutrients but masks the texture from picky eaters. Great for tricking the kids into more veggies.) $30 per dozen

Red Wine Beef Stew: Always the crowd’s favourite, this dish is based on Julia Child’s classic beef bourguignon with a rich and decadent broth, carrots, and mushrooms. Served over creamy garlic parmesan mashed potatoes. $50 for 4 servings

Butternut Squash Lasagna: The definition of comfort. This lasagna is made with Italian sausage and sautéed kale with homemade ricotta in a bechamel sauce. Served with a jumbo homemade garlic butter and cheese stuffed breadsticks. $80 for 6 servings

Individual Biscuit Pizza Varity Pack: Delicious and adorable? Yes please! Each pizza is roughly 6” diameter on a flaky butter biscuit crust. Toppings include classic pepperoni, Prosciutto with fresh mozzarella and pesto, and loaded veggie. Bake them all at once for a little mix and match party so keep them all to yourself! $50 per 6 pack

Private Chef Experience

You don’t need to lift a finger! Chef Audrey will arrive at your cottage one hour before service to set up and prepare your meal. She’ll serve dinner and help keep the party running smoothly. All the dishes will be done, leftovers packed up, and trash taken out at the end of the event.

Tapas & Small Bites

Work with Chef Audrey to design your perfect small plates menu. 5-6 custom dishes and platters based on your favourite flavours. It’s enough food for a full meal but service is more relaxed and less formal. Perfect for any occasion from elegant girl’s night to tailgate style game night. $350 minimum (Serves 4) + $45 for each additional person

3 Course Meal

Dinner to impress and you just relax. Work with Chef Audrey to design a 3-course menu tailored specifically to you and your guests. Soup, salad, or pasta starter, followed by the main course with a protein of your choice, and finished with one of Audrey’s craveable desserts. What more could you ask for? $300 minimum (Serves 4) + $40 for each additional person
